Err no, the article clearly states "The second rule is that while you may consider some of our leading politicians to be a spineless weirdo, please resist the temptation to nominate them." The first rule obviously is that you don't talk about Invertebrate of the Year Club.

That's what science says. My own theory is that swans are able to fly with such heavy bodies by channeling their seething rage & hatred at the world into their wings and feet. That's its own kind of magic.
