Anecdotally, it looks like Alaska is purging naturalized citizens from the voter rolls, claiming that they're not American. It happened to my partner and to other people she knows. So know that when you see US gov't claims about non-citizens found on the voting rolls, know that it's bullshit.

Went to a lecture on book bans in libraries. One guy there was favorable towards them and said books can encourage aberrant behavior. Told the spouse and some friends afterwards that it’s true. I read On the Road when I was young and it cost me several years of my life. But I had fun.
