Alruna: End of History is even better than I was hoping it would be and you should make it part of your Pride celebration this month. My only complaint is that I don’t have enough time right now to 100% it because I have a project with a tight deadline I’ve been avoiding all weekend to play it.

Alruna, SLOWBURN, The InBetween, ALYUP, DIRECT CONTACT — love seeing curated lists that highlight the smaller projects that could be easy to miss.

Five more Steam demos worth checking: Alruna: End of History, SLOWBURN, The InBetween, ALYUP, and DIRECT CONTACT Demo. Different genres, different hooks, and a few smaller projects that could be easy to miss. #Steam #SteamNextFest #IndieGames #PCGaming

The way I see the story in End of History is that after the first game's Trancendent ending, Alruna returns to the material world as a dandelion seed. Your quest is more or less to guide Divinty's Creature to her own Transcendent ending. A quest doomed to fail... Tragically because of love...

🎮#30: Alruna: End of History everything i could have wanted in a sequel to one of my favorite metroidvanias and then some! beefier campaign with more to do, new moves to mess around with, and more banger dialog. the game opens with a sappho quote, its so fire. hop on peak please i beg you

One thing about Alruna 1 is that it had an emphasis on your abilities. The abilities even had secondary forms, which became popular. In Alruna 2, most of your abilities end up being pretty useless... They rest untouched in your inventory for a lot of the game.

Delve du 4 juin : Alruna-End of History. C'est un dé-lice ! Un "petit" metroidvania avec 5-6h d'exploration et de challenge. Visuellement, pas mal de choses réutilisé du 1er, mais le gameplay a bien évolué. C'est nerveux, c'est vaste, bref ! Amazing work @hallinniklas.bsky.social (not sponso)
