Getting measles is often not innocent. Almost 1 out of 5 persons with measles end up in hospital with pneumonia or severe diarrhea and dehydration or encephalitis or blindness. Also in rich countries. That is why vaccination is suggested. Our (grand)parents knew it. Maybe it is time that we do too.
