I think the issue was they decided that "it lets you simulate things like light and reflections and water with comparatively less computing power than rasterizing did" wasn't exciting to anyone but GPU nerds, so they said "now you can fire all the humans" to get that sweet capex money

Silicon Valley did a shit ass job introducing their product and they should be the ones out here trying to fix it.

If they were fucking, these idiots wouldn't be embarrassed, they'd be *bragging* about it. If I had to guess, Harp isn't his side piece—she's his nanny.
The thing that bothers me about people saying "what if welfare state but we let the social conservatives have their treats" is that we tried that already from 1932 to 1964. It wasn't sustainable, the contradictions became too much to contain

Look, put simply, people should not be comfortable saying that in public and the way to fix society runs directly through making them afraid to say it again.
