Ohhh... couple of Kraken game day thoughts: - Catton was really solid - Beniers I never know which one we're going to get but if he ever gains some consistency he could be a bad man. - Mackie I REALLY dug his shot in the shoot out. Didn't quite pull it off but damn I want more of that.

Paused the 2nd intermission to be dad and just finished up the game thoughts: - Solid GKeeping re Grubey - Shane (fwd lines) were kinda missing - Blueline did a lot of work there in the 3rd - Nice to "win" this after being outplayed - Shouldn't been out played

I totally understand the downside of signing someone to an offer sheet. I understand that Fantilli isn't going to, by himself, add enough that it makes the Kraken a playoff team. Just like Robertson wasn't enough. That said, they need to do something. Be interesting if nothing else.

I think it depends on the team, like you mention OTT, seems like that lines up. Seattle makes less sense. Not only do we have young wingers who already need ice time, we also want a high pick. Maybe he makes sense if you intend to flip him but with that contract it makes it hard.

I would think that's pretty attractive to teams who are trying to solve multiple problems around their roster and have depth in their C depth chart. For example, OTT could move Pinto to 2C under Stutzle, adding a dynamic W to replace Brady (Tip) and add a RHD Sanderson or Chabot partner (Risto)
