After thinking about this question all weekend, I think my favorite candidate is the alchemical symbol for air: 🜁 It’s connotes both atmosphere and “transfer”. It’s a standard Unicode character. It references a capital “A.” And it’s very simple, which feels appropriate for a protocol, like 🌐 or 🛜.

I think I invented something. I believe this is possible on the Apple Vision Pro, but I haven't seen it done on the Meta Quest 3. I've been calling it "Egocentric Masking," but that's a little self-centered. It's a way to see your actual body in VR, instead of a pair of floating ghost hands.
