had a dream a few nights ago there was a speedrunner just named "twocigarettes" whose thing was that he always had two lit cigs in his mouth while doing runs. we let him on the gdq stage and told him the cigs couldn't be lit so he did a full run of call of duty 4 with two unlit cigs in his mouth

I am only a few levels in but holy COW I am impressed by Quake: Dawn of the Machine. It doesn't feel like Quake but different, it is an entirely new structure and even genre. The music, gameplay and level design is fantastic. Feels genuinely like a brand new game.

Been a very exciting time in Denshattack! speedrunning. The WR for Any% has swapped 5 times this week and minute barriers are getting broken left and right. The run takes roughly 4 hours to do and is a marathon in itself but I am so proud of our community and their achievements since launch.

Wow, just wow. 😅 Amazingly this isn't even the first time I've seen this happen first hand.
