between medical bureaucracy and secondary education bureaucracy and travel bureaucracy I feel like I'm floating through a blizzard of forms and choices, some of which are mandatory, some optional, some not relevant to me at all. I can't tell which is which and am just flailing and hoping.

I don’t like this. A test for taking a test. Recursive standardized testing for 8yos. I mean, I do test my students on the content of my syllabus, but maybe I shouldn’t. I don’t like it. (See alt text for actual linguistic worry about it).
