A great SENDCo can transform children’s & their families’ lives. Quite frankly they are 100% gold plated edu-diamonds and their deep knowledge & compassionate understanding twinned with a relentless belief in what is possible is powerful & inspirational. They are true heroes. 🙏🏻

Been working with teens excluded from school. All have #SEND (most commonly ASD/ADHD/DLD) but were either diagnosed too late or not even assessed until after they were excluded. It’s heartbreaking ‘81% of children with behavioural disorders have significant language difficulties’

Quick plea for help - could you answer this question for me? If you teach at a secondary school, how long is your afternoon stretch? ie how long are children in lessons after lunch without a break? eg. at our school, it's 2 hours I'm wondering how common a 3 hour stretch is (for personal reasons)
