A red flame in Barad-dûr, based on the conversation in the most recent shelved by genre episode. I wanted the city to look both industrial and unsettling, so I tried to use a real mix of building styles, and avoid too many curves/natural shapes.

Late night thoughts: Having seen Speed Racer and D.E.B.S. this year, I have come to the conclusion that CGI in movies should look more obviously fake. I think the hunt for making actors in front of green screens feel "real" has managed to make the entire image feel fake.
