Working through a training and noticing that most of the scams/attacks involve email. Given how much of a time waste email is in general, I wonder if the cost/benefit of email is approaching the cost/benefit of more personal communications (like phone calls or in-person meetings)?

Reading the Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haiti and I'm fully on-board with his four recommendations: 1) No smartphones before high school. 2) No social media before 16. 3) Phone-free schools. 4) More unsupervised play and childhood independence.
Something I started doing a few years ago was giving a short debrief to all my classes whenever I attended a conference. I think it elevates our work, promotes professional learning, and opens space discussion. Does anyone else do this or something similar? #amte2025
