Missed my bus today, had to cycle to work. It's my fault for getting to my bus stop *on time* (5 min early) Actually not even sure I DID miss the bus, I waited for half an hour and never even saw it on the app. Fucking US transit, smdh.

Today was insane. I'm wiped. Very thankful that I get an extra hour tonight.

One of my favorite anecdotes about him was one fan asked him, "I don't get it, wouldn't they have the cure for baldness in the future?" And Stewart replied, "Yes, but in the future, nobody cares."

This is amazing. I lost a childhood friend to sickle cell anemia. She only made it to her mid twenties. She had a degree in food science.

Having a pretty good day today. Went to a book fair, bought a few graphic novels (and a couple novel novels), ate at a cafe and walked around the annual punk rock fest in town. On my way home now. Weather is gorgeous.

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

Basically worked 9 hours straight today. Had maybe two minutes to sit down and chug a cup of soup. I'm so tired of everything happening all the time and feeling too drained to make any art. My feet ache and I'm a bit depressed.

I made a beautiful omelette today that slid out of my pan, bounced off the plate I was aiming for, and swan-dived onto the floor, with a big, depressing SPLAT.
