this is actually true, by the way, once you realise what we believe journalism to be is confined to about three rooms in the BBC and Channel Four and a buzzsawed hard drive in the Guardian's basement, and they are despised by the REAL journalists doing the hard work of regime stenography

The settler mobs operate on tacit approval from the Israeli government and the IDF are on hand to protect them in case anyone shoots back. This gets to the core of it though: Palestinians - as subhumans, within the Israeli system - have no recognised right to self-defence.

the whole "women's sports exist to protect women from men" framing is hilarious, given that a lot of these divisions were initially formed because men were deeply embarrassed any time a woman beat them at a sport olympic shooting was mixed gender right up until a woman won the gold
