If you're protesting (& esp. about the state disappearing someone) then you should do your best to keep yourself out of state custody. Do not make it easy for the pigs to get their hands on you & do not just hand yourself over to them. It is not necessary for you to get arrested.
People’s City Council - Los Angeles @pplscitycouncil.bsky.social · 2y agoCheck out this important conversation we had with Unity of Fields! We talked about the student intifada in LA, the recent high school walkouts, facing state repression, and shutting the fuck up! Read it here + a zine to go with it: unityoffields.net/pcc-la/
We need to talk about Trump’s threat to defund universities unless they arrest and expel protesters. We’re watching classic fascistic institutional capture in real time and if this continues unabated we’re going to look up and live in a world without escape. The time to fight is now.
this is the plan btw. this is what they mean by making america great again. good luck to everyone who doesn’t know that yet
Right Wing Watch @rightwingwatch.bsky.social · 2y agoWhite nationalist Lana Lokteff says we have to "repeal the Civil Rights Act" to stop black people from invading "all our white spaces": "All of this because they couldn't drink [from] the same water fountain or use the same toilet. Was it really that big of a deal?"

KikiDoodle & Purrmaids @ BLFC@kikidoodle.bsky.social · 2y agoPoor prognosis, but they haven't gotten worse. Sekhmet ate a tiny bit. I'm getting jijinand heihei xrays to make sure there's no early signs of pneumonia. Because once this progresses to full pneumonia recovery looks dire. I'm so broken
"But how am I supposed to find time for my art when I'm working full time?" Time theft. You commit time theft. You're already getting screwed by your employers. They're not paying you enough for the time you give them. Do it on the clock. Even if it's just a few words on a scrap of paper.
