wrote a blog post about the tile art that appears all over my new pixel art collection. it was largely created in galleryNES, a program design to create NES-compatible art roms using limited tilesets. link to the blog post in the replies

Chunky tile art of a figure in a leather jacket and VR headset holding a floppy. Wires run from the headset to a sort of circuitry diagram on the right labelled "Cyberpunk." Shades of blue with neon green highlights.A black and white skull and crossbones. The skull has a gnarled silhouette, while the crossbones are actually two intersecting, boomerang-like right angles.A kind of gaunt alien face with large, dark eyes. Tiles seem to repeat all over the image, creating a "glitchy" sort of texture. The alien is salmon-colored with purple eyes.

quick mockup of an idea I had last night crafting system that combines a large palette of effects with associated costs. This wand uses pretty high-level concepts but could also see more lower-level programmatic things like control flow. where has this been done before?
