Growing up in Black America you experience colorism and how it affects what’s considered attractive, but I didn’t understand how deep colorism gets. For other POC the whiter the better. Like pale, transparent, uncut white.

The thing with millennials is that so much of the marketing and propaganda around the demographic was you are this and that because you’re young. You are special and cool because you’re young. Nothing else.

I also hate how crime in the 70s to 90s is talked about without addressing deindustrialization and how this country basically walked away from the older parts of the country that developed first.

Y'all, I am in a LOT of pain and it's been getting worse these past few weeks. I have NO idea what's going on with me, so I have GOT to see a specialist THIS FRIDAY. PLEASE help me meet my goal of $175 minimum so I won't have to reschedule.

I'm seeing a specialist on the 31st (next week) and would appreciate some help seeing to that bill, as well as fixing my phone screen. I think the appointment will be around $175, and fixing my phone will be around $50.

One thing I don’t hear mentioned is that the bar is ridiculously low for Black politicians to get elected and progressives expose that. Progressives and the dissolution of the VRA exposes how a lot of these Black Dems have been elected w/o standing for shit.

The experience of living and working in the US continually taught me the extent and cruelty of policies which purposely overemphasize personal effort and education over systemic changes and greater government regulation because the latter would hurt shareholders of private corporations.

I’ve worked with some of these respectable negros and I hate the place they put me in. You act professional, but suck at the job. Now I got to listen to white folks bitch about how bad you are and can’t defend you because I see the same thing.
