By the by, this is where the malapportionment of the Senate manifests The Democratic Party as such can compete for the chamber, but the version of the party that can win the chamber has to moderate a lot to win the tiny rural states

Right, this is the key point imo. The entire war is illegal as a matter of domestic American law, constitutional and statutory. Has been from the outset.

Their worry about inflation is now significantly higher than 1979, when inflation was 14%. This is very hard to explain, but very bad politically!
