One thing that’s wild to remember is that 34 years ago during the 1992 election year, serious ethical and sexual misconduct claims were levied against Bill Clinton and people like James Carville actively worked the refs to make the stories go away.

We don't think about this because the "Default Phone" in the American Psyche is the iPhone, but outside of the US it's completely the opposite. Google forcing Gemini onto billions of phones worldwide and fundamentally changing people's relationships with an essential item is a recipe for disaster.
