I think if the Sounders signed a 27 year old dude who scored 47 goals in 2.5 years in Mexico, Belgium, Argentina, or the Championship everyone would be very happy. I don’t think goalscorer is the biggest issue for Seattle, but it is objectively good to lock up an important position for years.
