i know that i am still only in ch 1 of the book 'media literacy in action', but it is still unnerving how much everything can be read so far with someone nodding along thinking "yes, totes, i totally understand, this is why i question all media to the point of misinformation"

i truly wish for tijuana to one day host a manga ichiba that's bilingual to specifically lure in folk who don't want to travel to the US, but US artists can still attend since the city is so close to the border; like tijuana or mexicali should be trying to be a moment rn

If you are commissioning an artist, and want a specific pose, don't run to genAI to try and make it for you. Draw a stick person. Stick person poses are beloved among all artists. We can see exactly what you want. Do not fear sending the stick person. The stick person is magical.

While patreon is neat in keeping up to date with a creator's current stuff; it is an utter pain in going back in time and seeing old work pls have a gallery view of posts with images ;___; pls give some sort of indicator that 'TAG' vs 'tag' are considered different tags
