Brattleboro's new Amtrak station is the best in the nation! All new, easy parking, ADA, two ramps, level with the train for easy on and off, murals and exhibit about publishing in southern Vermont, waiting area with lots of windows, lighting at night, etc.

we politely don't block Main St traffic in Brattleboro, but it seemed like pretty much the whole town was out. After the march there were excellent break-out forums with local leaders, on resistance topics. Also well attended.

the rally march starts out, between Whetstone Brook and the Food Co-op, a line of people holding signs and walkingdowntown Brattleboro, people lining both sides of Main St for a couple of blocks, and farther down the hill though you can't see that in the photo. Crossing guards helping to keep people out of the traffic.
