Anyone have a good resource for seeing cool, beautiful, high-quality images of Pokemon and Magic cards? I want to find some more inspo for how to develop my cards a bit more.
Well, obviously, I'd love that one to start my collection!
Thinking about making trading card packs based on the stories we run. Here's an example for Thursday's upcoming story. Sized for instagram here, but I think it'd make a fun card. Have them in randomized booster packs, some limited edition foils, etc.

Doric Literary site stats show the Submissions page has been viewed 10X more than our most read story. Do more people want to be published than want to read? Honestly, reading improves your odds of acceptance. So here's our editor's favorite story in the journal: doric-literary.com/2025/04/24/t...

So hard to ever feel like you have forward momentum when submitting stories to lit mags, but I received an acceptance from @stanchion.bsky.social earlier, which makes 3 over the past 10 days now! "Pretending to Youth" is out later this year in Stanchion #24. And now, back to work on the next one!
Had another story accepted over the weekend for July publication. Have one other pending for 2027. Having a pretty good year so far! Got to keep up the writing & submitting, I want more. Those subs can be a real time suck though. Tracking my publications here: cliffaliperti.com/publications/
