Something I've noticed happening more and more lately are trade reviews that barely review the book. Publisher's Weekly and Kirkus will have a review that's 90% a description of the plot and characters, then 1 sentence at the end to aid librarians in deciding if it's worth adding to a collection.

Thinking about making trading card packs based on the stories we run. Here's an example for Thursday's upcoming story. Sized for instagram here, but I think it'd make a fun card. Have them in randomized booster packs, some limited edition foils, etc.

This may well be the fanciest rejection letter I've ever received. :) "Dear Mighty-Thewed Author, Thank you for your submission. Alas, other scribes have claimed the prize. Your valor shall be remembered. Know that this shall not be the last chance to send stories to our magazine."

It’s taken me far too long, but all submissions from Q2 have finally been read. I’ve got ten stories in the mix to fill our last two spots… I hate this part… these last couple cuts are going to be painful.
