sometimes I do stuff on the internet https://mycringeweb.site profile picture from the picrew mentioned in the corner (https://hellosunnycore.com) :D

I took the dialect quiz and it said my dialect is most like Delaware, a state I believe I have never been in. is this the accent you get when you read a bunch and basically learn pronunciation from other people by mistake

me: “I know what I am doing is dumb and bad and I will pay for it later, but I can’t stop myself” me: me: “who could’ve expected this, headaches and being awake at 2am?? Impossible”

Eventually I’ll learn how long it takes to get protection from a vaccine instead of thinking you get it and then have an immediate magic shield. Eventually!!!

writing the youtube script for my next (and hopefully last) llm video ... bleh. all i want to do in it is talk about my own vst plugins i made with llms. what if i added twenty more features to all of them?! [still, nobody would use them. neither would i.]

sometimes when i post i'm like "i only got like one like or whatever :(" but then i think about the consequences of if multiple people followed and read my posts and i'm really happy with my decisions generally

so i've been playing immortals: fenyx's breath of the wild (by ubisoft! would you like to pay us money for cosmetics?!), and it's one of the strangest games i've played in a while by virtue of its inherent contradictions. i almost want to make a long video essay about it or something

i thought i had three laptops, and then i remembered about three others that i don't use [the screens in all three are terrible]. pain

me, reading a book someone else has written: "Wow, does the author realize they've put so much of themselves in this book? Wow. How embarrassing." me, writing my own book: "Nobody will know this is written by me, I'm a great writer!" the first feedback I get: "why are all the characters you?!?"

maybe my least favorite opinion about the odyssey that I’ve seen is that it must be interesting and artful because pale are writing a lot about it

somehow exposure therapy doesn't work when the anxiety behind it is "people are going to listen to my music and not like it" even if people like the music lol.

Apropos of too many things lately, here's a spite poem I wrote a few weeks ago **makes unflinching eye contact while jamming more em dashes in** full disrespect to anyone writing with AI and also to the idea that we should change our voices and styles because the plagiarism machine is copying us

I will not cede my em dashes
I gathered them over countless afternoons in the languorous haze of foxing pages––breathing in the must of bygone times.

I unearthed them in a hundred many-branching conversations––no eye contact, just enthusiasm and did you know that rabbit trailing bliss.

I knelt at Emily Dickinson’s feet, and Emily Brontë’s, felt the press of punctuation against each shoulder––a knighting. A charge.

I will not cede them. I am oath-bound, sworn in fealty to complexity, to the broken, never-ending word. I must wield––.
