The thing with constantly doing cons and having ADHD is that when you finally go to sort through bulk you end up finding a treasure trove of forgotten rares.

The bulk box I’m building
A surge foil vincent card next to the box it was found in
More rare cards piled upNow there’s a secret lair set on the pile?????

such a good, sad window. these side quest conspiracies are just desperate attempts to protect an alternate reality they've been fed algorithmically. the utter popularity of this film is evidence that they live in a bubble of insanity. so they recruit new "evidence" so as not to confront that truth

the odyssey discourse is a beautiful perfect window into right wing culture war psychosis. they went from hysterial racist mania over a character that’s on screen for 5 minutes to claiming there’s a massive conspiracy to fake ticket sales. this is just what they do for everything now. they’re insane

BREAKING: The Odyssey is FAKING ticket sales by buying up theaters/seats (Fraud) to make the movie look like a success (already $400 million in the hole) moviegoers are reporting having to take terrible seats (because full) but when they show up the theaters are mostly empty.

Clueless is the best answer in this post so far. Collateral is cool, but LA never was a taxi city and it always felt a bit odd to me. (I used to use taxis before uber with an ex’s friend to go to bars and it always felt so *weird*) Mine would be: Friday Boyz in Da Hood Dope Beverly Hills Cop 3

Okay, prompt time: What is your favorite iconic _L.A. Movie_ that isn't HEAT (1995)? Define "iconic" however you like

What’s really getting me about this and all the ai food I’ve seen, is how comfortable we’ve gotten with false advertisement. The idea of generating AI ads without considering the need to replicate the look of the food advertised should be a huge tell of how comfortable we’ve become with it.

ai food in these posters always looks like nightmare sequences in shows where someone will be eating what they think is delicious food but then they look down and turns out its maggots and other bugs

The only thing worse than having the autistic “I need to hear this song a million times” thing, is when a fictional song from a comedy movie triggers it.

A screencap of a youtube video that posted the fictional song “Never Come Down” by Jay McCarrol from Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie.
