In the paper, we also put EU-Canada relations in the context of EU relations to Norway and the UK. At least in security, I would argue at the moment EU-Canada relations are surprisingly slightly more advanced than EU-UK relations (though the UK has the deeper ties with EU member states).

I really need an outlet that is fair in its assessment of the EU. The EU certainly has many (many) problems. But if there was no EU, the member states would have been worse off alone. Is it too much to ask for some news coverage of what the EU has done well? Is it unreasonable to expect that?
