Eye-wateringly stupid defence from Rowling’s team here - ‘She does not support legal actions aimed at harming transgender people.’ - Really? So that £70,000 towards the bathroom ban was by accident? The JKR Women’s Fund was made by an impersonator? At least have the spine to admit you want us dead

J.K. Rowling’s rep responds to Lilly Wachowski’s accusation of ‘funding trans genocide’ (exclusive)

J.K. Rowling’s representative responded to Lilly Wachowski accusing the author of ‘funding trans genocide’: ‘She does not support legal actions aimed at harming transgender people.’

When democrats shrink away from supporting LGBTQ rights, they are validating Republican framing on LGBTQ issues. Trans rights are not some guilty thing they should be ashamed of and try to avoid. You need to stand up and say that people should have the freedom to live their lives as they wish.

Gay marriage was a new right that we lgbtq people were fighting for back then. Trans healthcare, sports, gender marker changes, etc have been around for years, decades in some instances. This is like a dem coming out NOW and opposing gay marriage in 2026.

also, she hasn't got more moderate, she's always had two lines of rhetoric, one for the insiders, and one she shows to the liberal press which is "well of course when they've tried every other possible method to cure themselves the real freaks should be allowed to wear a dress"

The reason JKR is suddenly saying more and more “moderate” seeming things is not because her views are “moderate”, you daft shits. It’s because she is registering that her extremely overtly transphobic points are now making her very unpopular.

Just opened up Tumblr and got blasted with 5 autoplaying instances of Never Gonna Give You Up with audio just very slightly offset from each other. New feature(?) just dropped ig

FA mods have now come up with the claims that I was asking for it by not saying up front that I didn't want to be sent unsolicited pornography and not locking my account to exclusively SFW content (vile, even ignoring that the porn was an external link). @furaffinity.net's mods behave like rapists

Fuck the @furaffinity.net mods so much! They're really out here protecting sex offenders by refusing to take action against someone who sent me unsolicited porn and claiming that doing so somehow wasn't sexual harassment!!?

[Open] Code of Conduct -> Other (Sent unsolicited pornographic imagery by masterreviewer1000)

When sending reference images of an OC, masterreviewer1000 sent explicit sexual imagery without consent (3rd image link in note). This is sexual harassment and I want consequences to make sure this user does not do it again to others.

(Comment I put a few days later:) Can I please have a follow-up on this? masterreviewer1000 has expressed zero remorse or acknowledgement of wrongdoing, despite me trying to deal with this issue personally, with them instead claiming no wrongdoing and claiming I was just "offended" when they literally committed a sexual offence.

I would appreciate it if admin/mods handled this matter in a timely manner with appropriate seriousness.

The launching of an “independent review” cannot support the suspension of services. The minimum requirements for any suspension to occur are, firstly, a clear justification (a necessity test), and secondly, a time-bound preliminary review (for example, a working group reporting back within 14 days).

How is sending porn to someone without them consenting to being sent such material or in any way indicating that they wished to be sent such material not a violation of your rules? It is sexual harassment and literally a criminal offence in some countries (such as the UK).

Furthermore, if you do not deal with the issue of this user sending explicit sexual images to people without their consent, then there every likelihood that they may do the same to underage users too. I should not have to explain to you that sexual abusers rarely stop at one person.

Fur Affinity Staff:
It is not sexual harassment to provide NSFW references. It is in poor taste when the raffle was General-rated, yes, so you would be quite justified to revoke their win of the raffle or to block them, but it is not sexual harassment and does not violate any of our rules.

Fur Affinity does not punish users for things they have not done. If the user attempts to send explicit imagery to a minor, appropriate action will be taken against them at that time.

Illusn:
To clarify: you are claiming that sending unsolicited porn to others is not sexual harassment?

You are also heavily downplaying what they did. They did not just "provide NSFW references", they sent me straight up tentacle porn without asking beforehand if it was something I was alright seeing or even checking if I was of legal age. You are protecting literal sex offenders on your site.

I want them to be punished for their actions, which to anyone who doesn't support sex offenders over their victims would be grounds for serious consequences.
