“Fuck,” she moaned. His eyelashes brushed against her neck as he mumbled though kisses, “We could.” “Here?” “Mhm,” he hummed, planting kiss after kiss from her neck to her collarbone. “People eat here.” She could feel him grin against her skin and was surprised when he pulled back to see how he hadn’t tried to hide it. Long seconds passed as he searched her face and let go of her hands. He traced his palm down the side of her body until grabbing her bare thigh and pulling her hips even closer to his. “As will I, if you let me.” Camille gasped. He was so hard and she was ready. “What if someone…” she gestured toward the seasonal portals. “I have a feeling you would not mind; you like when you are seen.” ✨ “I want to feel you pulsing around my fingers.” ✨ “You think I am done with you? I will only stop when you beg me because I want to see this bliss on your face until my lungs no longer hold breath.” ✨ “Oh, I will get mine, Camille. Worry not.”“Please,” she sighed, with what she felt like the correct amount of desperation as all her heat raced between her thighs. “Don’t make me wait for you.” He smirked; his deviant intentions written all over his face. He looked so sexy that Camille could have died. He knelt before her, wasting no time anchoring one hand to her waist and the other brushed gently over the bare skin of her hip, sending a thrill up her spine. “I have not even kissed you yet. What kind of man do you take me for?” he teased, pressing a kiss to her lace. He ran his tongue along her scars, sending electric heat rippling over her skin. Camille skimmed her fingers along his jaw and then wove them into his hair. “A man who looks so good on his knees.” His eyelashes fluttered against her skin, and, for a moment, his shoulders rose and fell heavily as his cool breath brushed over the dampness of her skin. “And I bet you’d look so sexy between my legs,” she teased. He let out a shaky breath, and when he looked up at her, his eyes were dark. ✨ “You are so impatient.” He smiled against her skin and pressed a line of tender kisses against her thigh as he undressed her. “Let me savor you.” His words had her melting against the wall, pulling the cotton fabric of his t-shirt tightly against her body. Soon enough, he nudged her thigh over his shoulder, and his mouth was between her legs, and all the waiting felt worth it.

“Fine,” he said with a cocky grin as he rolled up his sleeves. “Stand against the wall.” Camille pointed her thumb over her shoulder. “Against the wall?” He looked between her and the wall. “Yes, the wall.” He guided her until her back touched the wall, propping his hand over her shoulder, leaning in close enough that his breath brushed against her skin. His closeness made her cheeks flush. “Trust me, it will be better for both of us.” He studied the features of her face, but all she could do was look into his navy eyes. They had slivers of the lightest crystalline blue. Speckles of ocean in the wicked black sea. It was something she’d never noticed, and now that she knew, it was their secret to keep. When his gaze met hers, the corners of his eyes crinkled. “Are you ready?” “Yes,” she breathed, a nervous tightness twisting in her chest. He looked down at the space between them. “I can handle the smallest scars, the least dense. Where are those?” “You know where they are,” she whispered. His eyes met hers. “I want to hear you say it.” The gentle demand made her swallow. “My hip,” she squeaked. His voice dropped an octave. “Do you want me to start there?” She nodded, her heartbeat in her throat, steady and strong. She couldn’t relax. Somehow this was different than all the healing he’d done before. With his sleeves rolled to his elbows, he looked like a minx, assessing his midafternoon snack and it was intoxicating.He lifted the hem of her shirt with just his index finger, dragging it from her navel to her ribs. “Hold this for me?” he asked, reaching for her shorts, knuckles brushing her bare skin as he unbuttoned and unzipped them. Cautiously, he folded the fabric back, letting his fingers linger against her skin as they slid underneath her lace to secure the fabric against her hip. Once she could bear to look, he was resting on one knee, just watching her breathe, waiting. When their gazes met, he pinned her firmly against the wall with a single hand. There was no reason for this to be as hot as it was, but her eager body betrayed her with a storm of butterflies fluttering in her stomach and obvious shuddering breath. She stared at the ceiling, wishing she didn’t want him close, that she didn’t love when his hands explored her, but she did. She was his snack, and she wanted this. Camille bit her knuckle, stifling a groan. Her skin prickled red. Healing her scars wasn’t supposed to be so hot, but then he leaned in, and his lips brushed her skin. It made her aware of his every movement, of every place he was touching her. He grounded himself on her waist, held her still by her hip, and when his tongue followed the curve of her scar, she drew in a breath, tilting her hips against him without shame. “Oh my God,” she murmured. His tongue was cold as it moved over her skin, dipping into her scars and swirling around the edges. It felt good, pleasurable, and the trail of heated sparks left in its wake pricked her skin in more ways than one.
