On top of The Witcher 2 and cleaning up trophies in Halo, I’ve started Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon. I’m actually blown away! This game is a ton of fun and is basically a darker/moodier Elder Scrolls. About 5 hours in at level 11. Skills level the same as TES but there’s no level cap!

Taking a break with my Halo Campaign Evolved platinum run (45/58 trophies earned btw) to play Forsaken Realms: Vahrin's Call on the Steam Machine. I’ve seen some posts about seeing Halo on PS feeling weird but to me it’s how it should’ve always been. Halo was announced at an Apple event and then MS stole Bungie, effectively stopping any multiplat path the game had. The fact that Xbox has now gone multiplat is one of life’s little ironies.

Witcher 2, Act 2 progress. Love how the tone of this game is so serious and then every once in a while it will throw in something like the harpy feather quest or the succubus quest and Geralt’s deadpan humor really shines.

The Witcher 2, Act 1 complete! Probably my second favorite game of all time. TES: Oblivion taught me that the world can be the center of a story through exploration. The Witcher 2 showed me that a fantasy game could tell a serious story and immerse us in a cinematic masterpiece.

Counterpoint: whatever taxes we pay would cost less than the $12,500 I pay in premiums every year, the out of pocket costs I pay for my kid's specialist appointments, the copays I pay for every single visit, and the medical costs of any random illness we pay for the very crappy care we receive.

We also cant forget about the 35th Anniversary for #FinalFantasyIV I played it for the first time when it came out on PSP - loved it! - then i played it on the DS - then many years later when it came out with the Pixel Remasters - would love to own the original though #FFIV is fantastic :)
