Any AES supporter would have been thrilled with a win of any margin as recently as a month ago. A few late polls showing a bigger lead shouldn’t change that reality. He won against the Dem establishment and $62M of PAC money. He was barely on the radar when he entered the race.

the best funded senate campaigns win 80-85% of the time, and outside money is even more decisive in primaries. abdul el-sayed was outspent 9:1 it's frustrating to see polling is still so broken, but that shouldn't diminish el-sayed's accomplishment
