Growing older is realising you're fascinated by birds and have to point them out. Hell, even most of the videos my wife and I share are about birds.

A bunch of British companies are complaining about needing to source the packaging materials they use for them to sell in the EU, which is why they're stopping shipping to the EU. If you can't tell what your packaging materials are, are you even doing due diligence?

Not gonna lie, guillotines might need a major comeback.

Just about done with my MIL for another half a year. She can be a lot to take when she gets conspiratorial and talks about green terrorists.

Blanket censoring the word “gambling” is literally a pro gambling move. Gambling platforms avoid the word for obvious reasons, so YouTube eliminating its use under the pretense of combating gambling is the best fucking cover a gambling platform could ask for. It’s pretty disgusting.

Fantasy RPG setting where cooking works the way it does in crafting-based video games, like if you assemble a sandwich just right it can let you shoot fire from your eyes and shit, so cooking is a tightly regulated art. You can get thrown in a dungeon for marinating without a license.

Finished replaying Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater (Subsistence, not Delta) after more than a decade since last time. The game damn well holds up to this day (once you get over the jank-ass no crouch walking thing anyway).

I've been sitting in the first area of Metal Gear Solid 3 (the PS2 one) for an hour and there's STILL more codec conversations that I can go through. I didn't remember there being so much optional audio.

These AI companies are all talk about how AI is going to revolutionise the economy and yet the only two use-cases they can come up with is creating spam and gooning.

Now the real grind begins

Hey, I've been down with weakness and fevers due to the Tick-borne encephalitis vaccine since Thursday, so I've not been up to streaming. Getting better, so I'll try to get something cooking on Monday.

RIP HC-Tsktskladin(a). His brother, HC-Tsktskladinb however managed to get past Diablo. The first one died to the Infector of Souls pack of venom lords. I had forgotten how quickly a run can just end on that pack.

Back to D2R hardcore again after a year's break or so. Nothing world breaking, but it was nice to get a decent unique from Andariel.

Got a moment during the stream I wanted to clip, so I dusted Vegas and started cutting. The troubleshooting of rendering causing crashes though made me feel like cutting something else. Anyway, now it works like a charm... that you have to stop breathing for during rendering, lest it angers Vegas.

I started cleaning up the kitchen appliances at 3 am when I could've just gone to bed and done it in the morning. Gotta seize the motivation while it lingers though, because god forbid I just do the 15 minute thing when I first notice it and not weeks or months later (or at 3 am).
