I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.

I didn't get vaccinated out of obedience, but after decades of studying the immune system and evaluating all evidence. Calling that "lack of critical thinking" is not an argument. It's ideology masked as pretend intellect.

The sticking point is going to be that the rep leaning folks in rural areas in opposition to data centers are the same ones that oppose solar farms and wind turbines. I drive through the rural midwest a lot. The same houses with "no data centers" signs now had "stop solar" signs for years before.

Yes, let's address that, by ensuring we have the infrastructure and support structures in place to mitigate the impacts on school children the next time their is a wide-spread infection disease emergency. Or did you mean address that by packing kids in small rooms still and hoping for the best?
