Today, we report that chronic intermittent fasting impairs beta-cell maturation and function in adolescent mice. Using scRNAseq, we delineated a "maturation score" for beta-cells. Long-term IF good if you're older, might be harmful if you are still developing! 👇 www.cell.com/cell-reports...
