I think this re: sayed is pretty easily disproven by the continued constant concern-trolling and open antagonism over mamdani et al. A lot of dems are not "soft" bigots!

Musing rather than jumping in a thread: I think there probably are some elements of weird Catholic Metaphysics of Gender that lend themselves to abuse but it very likely has much more to do with how it teaches men to perceive themselves than anything else
