Updated #KOSA news here! Tldr: -Senate KOSA passed the markup, onto the Senate floor it goes. -The SCREEN Act had majority votes (15-13) BUT it didn't pass due to attendence failure. They want to do a revote on it so THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER. WE DELAYED THE SCREEN ACT. #KidsOnlineSafetyAct

Now that SE’s over and the more I think about it, the less I feel my initial assessment holds up. Granted, it’s still technically better than AA. But between the uneven writing, poor environmental messages and Tim Haines’ recent actions, its left me with conflicting feelings.

While it's certainly not perfect, I still think Surviving Earth is shaping up to be a pretty solid paleodoc. Those expecting something on par with Walking With will be disappointed. Seems it's basically gonna be Animal Armageddon but not horseshit, which I am 100% down for.

Just watched Ep 8: When America Flooded. Usual flaws and laughably inaccurate dire wolves aside, this was decent. The megafauna extinction only really came into play in the latter half, but what it did get was surprisingly somber. Arguably the bleakest episode of all. A solid end to an okay series.

Finally got to Ep 7: When The Continents Collided. I actually really enjoyed this one. While the plot armor for the twin Cuvieronius calfs got pretty ridiculous, the herd's overall story was still super investing. It also actually did a good job representing the GABI. (1/2)

Very late, but I just watched Ep 6: When The Oceans Shrank. NGL this is the weakest one so far. The extinction was treated like an afterthought story-wise and it had the most laughable end PSA. On the plus side, the visuals were amazing and the Sacabambaspis were adorable. 5/10
