In March, Washington State passed a tax on millionaires to fund public education, childcare, and expand its earned income tax credit. Now, special interest groups backed by the rich are trying to trick voters into repealing the tax by claiming it will apply to non-millionaires. Don't fall for it.

Surprise surprise, looks like they’re now teaming up with Palantir to track employee illnesses…

Corporations have no moral compass. It is up to society to force morality upon corporations.

On a related note I called my Senator’s office and made clear that when the AI bubble pops I don’t want a single dollar of my taxes to go toward bailing out trillionaires and billionaires. I’m on the record early.

And, if you don't understand the implications yet, you have Democrats and Republicans and the emerging Far Right that are all bankrolled by the same billionaires and oligarchs, particularly the Tech Oligarchs, and then a group bankrolled by grassroots donations.

You don’t dislodge and overtake a political machine that serves as a front for a wealth class with billions upon billions of wealth with just a few primaries. Pay attention to the flood of money washing into campaigns and political groups. It’s going to increase and it will get uglier.

We can make strategic decisions when choosing how we plant around our houses. I love arborvitae but after reading this will chose otherwise in the future.
