The Administration can eat shit. There have to be a dozen general officers screaming at the SecDef that it wouldn't work. Records are being kept of these communications. I won't believe they're serious about that until I see general officers quitting en masse over it.

Hegseth fired Army General Randy George & is seeking to replace him with “someone who will implement their specific vision for the Army” Very peculiar timing considering we’re mid-conflict, but if you had to venture a guess, it’s likely bc he refused to carry out an illegal order — subpoena time

The Army CoS typically serves a four-year term. George was nominated for the position by President Biden and confirmed by the Senate in 2023, meaning he should've held the position until 2027. The current vice chief of staff who was formerly Hegseth's military aide, will be acting Army CoS.
