Corporations have a new tool for subverting polices and public opinion; to increase profits, spread addiction, health hazards.
The govt should be killing off standing charges on electricity not gas. Almost everyone has leccy. Accelerate the switch to fuel that doesn't require stuff to be burnt. It would be another reason to switch. This is a sop to the gas industry who will fondle the prices so consumers save nowt.
Musk is an enemy of Europe. There is no justification for continuing to use his products

Enforcement is so lax that this stuff is just completely normalised now, and it's unacceptable.

A fun, affordable hobby is: 1. Turning up in random well-to-do Cotswold villages wearing a hi-vis vest with a picture of a wind turbine on it, and a hard hat. 2. Taking measurements of the village green and any other open space, and enthusiastically writing notes on a clipboard.
