I've been begrudgingly trying to get into Instagram this year because alas, I make stuff and want more people to know about that stuff. On Insta people are fed videos that the algorithm thinks they might like. It is trained by how long they watch, and how soon they scroll away.

If you read a lot of turn of the 20th century literature, you'll have heard of the Victorian Turkish bath, which involved alternating between very warm, dry chambers of increasing heat, and cold showers and plunge pools.

The Beekeeper's Picnic has been out over a year, and I had a vivid nightmare last night that this whole time there was a huge game-breaking bug which meant players couldn't finish the game. I think this is going to be my new "there's an exam you forgot to revise for".
