REMEMBER The guidance coming into effect today doesn't dictate what you're allowed to do as an individual. It for service providers and business owners. Do not cower in fear, do not reduce yourself, do not isolate, that is one of the intended effects.

Zia Yusuf of reform uk says BASH BACK is targeting MPs and threatening violence against them. This is not true and we strongly deny these claims. BASH BACK is a non-violent direct action group. our Guide explicitly says: "we do not condone causing physical harm to any human being". By contrast, Reform politicians have repeatedly threatened to unleash extreme violence against migrants, queers, Palestinians, people of colour and disabled people. We will not take lectures from a bigoted fascist gang who incite far-right street violence, and we will not bend the knee to a party that is brutalising queer communities. this is where your money goes when you buy harry potter stuff. rowling isn’t shy about it. amnesty wrote an even-handed report that laid out what anti-rights groups do; rowling uses her billions & clout to suppress it. when you give rowling money; she spends it on stealing people’s human rights.

In my opinion, this is litigious thuggery. Amnesty spoke their truth and it hurt the feelings of the anti-trans brigade. TERFs destroy everything they touch. I mean, imagine suing Amnesty, of all organisations?

This is why the Philosophy Tube episode on conversion therapy in Britain was so carefully worded and went through lawyers first! It’s difficult to educate the public on topics that rich and powerful groups do not want people to know about

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.
