The winners here are almost entirely American media companies. Streamers like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, etc, yes, but also Big Tech: Meta, YouTube, TikTok et al. The platforms have siphoned away ever larger ad budgets despite lacking independent and robust media measurement.
