If voting didn’t matter, the right wouldn’t be trying so hard to disenfranchise us right now. Go vote your little butts off, babes 😎
Oh shit this is most of my gamedev career.

Ive done this but with mostly actual things that just no-one said at the company until I started: “Check the tapes” “Tickle the lizard brain”
I don’t care whether this actually happened or not. I want it to be true.
I will be vehemently opposing this with my vote here in WA. If you’re here I urge you to do the same. Taking the rights of trans people is taking away everyone’s collective bodily autonomy. This is a recipe for a generation of children left with significant trauma.
An initiative on the ballot in Washington state in November would require all athletes seeking to play girl's sports from kindergarten to high school to undergo "genetic screening, a testosterone-levels test, or an examination of their reproductive anatomy" before they can play
Crops grown underneath solar panels produce more, require less water and are more resistant to extreme weather, even during a hot, dry summer. We need agrivoltaics to be rolled out asap, for both the electricity and the better growing conditions. microgridmedia.com/solar-panels...
Solar Panels Are Helping Crops Grow Better, Global Studies Show - Microgrid Media
For farmers worried about losing land to solar energy, new research brings surprising news: many crops actually produce more food when grown beneath solar

One of my favorite things about The Expanse was that its commitment to realistic science meant that I could anticipate some story twists from principles. That didn’t make it boring, just faithful to its own premise. The interesting part was seeing the characters get there and how things shook out.
if I ever taught film criticism lesson one would be “you being smarter than the movie is not interesting to anyone”
Happy Birthday Draw Steel. Year One has been a crazy ride and we're just getting started.
Of the many things im tired of seeing on social media: comedians doing crowd work is one of them.

I bought a small table and made a tiny annoying blue deck that we can flip during some high stakes Magic The Gathering games.

I'm having SO much fun working on this campaign frame! Been ages since I worked on Sci-Fi. The last one I worked on was the Babylon 5 RPG, way back in the late 90's. Here's another peak at GRAVEHEART, a Daggerheart compatible campaign, in the dark far future of the Underworld, land of Death!
It’s the weekend! Who has a TTRPG game planned? I’m going to continue running my playtest group through a new #Arrhenius dungeon I started with them last session. Here’s hoping everyone’s games all go well. And as always: if you’re playing Arrhenius, let me know!
But bottom line, the problem we face is that tens of millions of people currently drive cars which set gasoline on fire to move around. Those same people live where transit does not serve them and is not likely to for decades. So I'll ask them to consider cars which don't set fire to gasoline.
New art art alert! Playing with gradients. Not sure this art will stick with this card but neither had a home so they get to be friends! #indiegame #tcg #lcg #humanmade #solodev
If you see this, post a monster. Lichenwight. Corpses reanimated by an invasive lichen that use bones at a new home. Rotted and covered in the semi-sentient creature shrouds its actions and movements. Joints held to the mossy lichen use strong fungal growths are surprisingly strong muscle.
If you see this, post a monster. This is a giganath. It lives in giant subterrean lakes. Its poop is harvested by enterprising dorrem for sale on the black market due to its psychotropic qualities. Wonderful art by @kayas-kosmos.bsky.social

Every one of these sites that leans into AI is profiting from theft, and no one should support that. Michael is one of 16K artists who didn't consent to their work being scraped and used by an industry that has dumped $1.6 trillion into AI. For what? 7/7 www.theartnewspaper.com/2024/01/04/l...
Leaked: the names of more than 16,000 non-consenting artists allegedly used to train Midjourney’s AI
The lists were both partially included in a recent class-action lawsuit and accidentally shared via a public Google spreadsheet

This is what I started with for the image. The skulls were 3d printed and painted. The discs are moth repellants. I then take it into GIMP and Inscape to make it all weird. #photobash #fantasyart #tcg
