I’m back with more swordtember prompts. I’m only halfway through them because I was kinda busy.

Why did no one tell me I misspelled the tag?

#swirdtember prompts 6-10

Long time no posting art. I’m back doing belated #swordtember prompts.

adhd is crazy cause you can rot for an entire week and finally on day 7 your third eye opens and all the tasks you were procrastinating on get done in 3 hours

Lara as a mermaid for the “Icon” theme of #mermay this year

Opinions needed: should I make an attempt at doing a mock up version of the book cover in the booktok drawing as an extra?

Today’s #mermay theme is #booktok and all I gotta say is I’ve landed on that section of the internet sometimes and I know what y’all read okay?!

*Shows up 6 days late with a Shellbucks in hand* Hello. Yeah so I'm not gonna do all the #mermay prompts this year, just a selection of them because I have to do some ~other~ things (cool things) this month.

figured I could post the timelapse of this study too

wait, fuck, this is gorillaz

The words “Britpop Demon Hunters” appeared in my head and I’m feeling queasy

same thing as yesterday, but in my most practiced technique (digital) this time.

kids, learn from my mistakes: if you haven’t touched charcoal in years, remember not to do it on the smallest sketchbook you own; use the big paper

the lesson to be learned here is that when you let artists and creatives cook, instead of doing everything possible to increase shareholder returns, you get creative art that becomes immortal and inspires everyone!! you will always fall short when you don't trust the artists to do what they do best

The last four animated feature Oscar winners have been quite diverse picks now that Disney/Pixar has lost its stranglehold on the category

Sooo…..I’ve been MIA for several months (I doused myself in Eau de Depression), but here I am with this drawing of Ariel trying to get back into making art again.

Artist propaganda I’m not falling for (and you shouldn’t either):

Got the final character designs for the lead singer and bass player in PunkMaids done. I don't yet have a name for the shirtless hottie.

For #mermay Day30: Exoskeleton #art #conceptart

Day 28 of #mermay: Gemini. Might turn it into a cute animated loop.

my only work on AO3 is my Surana Warden's Harrowing from the start of Dragon Age: Origins, featuring art by @jadenite.bsky.social archiveofourown.org/works/35515744

If you see this, post a monster Man I totally forgot to finalize this one.

#mermay day 26: Memory. I used to watch The Little Mermaid on vhs (dubbed in Italian) every day when I was little. I guess that explains a lot about me.

Betta Smaragdina Mermaid for Mermay 2025 This year there will be 6 new mermaids inspired by betta fish. Bettas are very popular among aquarium fish, there are more than 70 species and they are great for bright fantasy characters designs. #mermay #oc #art #illustration #conceptart #characterdesign

#mermay Day 18: Abracadabra. Of course I thought of Zatanna for this one.

#mermay Day 14: Brave. I thought of a Joan of Arc-esque idea for this one.

I have a theme combo today for #mermay: 11. Guard x 12. Redraw What did I redraw you ask? A drawing that’s over 30 years old made by yours truly!

Look at her! It was a joy to draw her!

Thanks so much again to @jadenite.bsky.social for this amazing drawing of my mermaid OC, Kale! She looks so good!!! 🤩

Skipping #mermay prompts this weekend and clearing my head with some random #doodles in a notebook.

It's #mermay time now. Day 8 theme is Atlantis. I was torn between the obvious choice (Kida) and evil hottie Helga, but Kida won out because I love her color scheme.
