I’m pessimistic about the prospect of 3rd party Switch 2 docks supporting VRR. Just recently I looked at dozens of USB-C to HDMI and DP to HDMI adaptors, and none of them could do VRR. Even Sony and Nintendo took over a year to add the feature, so 3rd parties are probably unwilling to tackle this.

Yet another parts reseller in China is selling the Sharp-assembled Switch 2 LCD panel. Like the last one I saw (link below), the model number is LS0DAS7081, possibly indicating an engineering sample. These are now surfacing at a faster pace in these marketplaces, a sign of mass production.
