J'aime Paris

Surely it goes without saying that I love Paris. I also appreciate people, great stories (in books or film), gymnastics, music, and inspiration about Who and what matters.
literally this comic except he apparently lives in Czechia instead of Nebraska
70 percent of the internet was vulnerable yesterday to very bad security flaws inside a coding language. Turns out, *one volunteer* is mostly responsible for maintaining that code & helping push updates. Yesterday Ondřej Surý saved the internet. So I called him up www.theatlantic.com/technology/2...
This is an astonishing story! Thank you, Ondřej Surý! 🌟

It always warms my heart when I come across a post from another soul who also appreciates or has been moved by my favorite church, Saint-Étienne-du-Mont.
The stunning Église Saint-Étienne-du-Mont church in Paris 🇫🇷. Construction began under King Francis I in the 15th century and was completed over a century later under Louis XIII, creating a beautiful mix of Gothic and Renaissance styles. A sight to behold, indeed. ✨
Many years ago, I came to appreciate Tom Skerritt in the tv drama “Picket Fences.” And while I haven’t watched many movies in the past year, this past week I watched Tom Skerritt’s lovely performance in “What the Deaf Man Heard,” in which he starred alongside Matthew Modine and James Earl Jones.
Wishing actor Tom Skerritt a blessed journey to the land of beautiful souls. 🪶✨
La rue Edouard Pailleron, #paris19, commence avenue Simon-Bolivar et se termine rue Manin, au pied du parc des Buttes-Chaumont. Elle porte le nom d'Édouard Pailleron (1834-1899), dramaturge et poète français.
#TAR I wonder whether the trip to Albania will include something about Mother Teresa, who was born there.
First tribal tonight did not go as I would have liked. For the second tribal, please can it work out some way that allows Lewis to stay? #Survivor51
The sweeping view from the rooftop of the Arc de Triomphe. From this high vantage point, you can look out across the classic Haussmann-style buildings of Paris. #paris #france #photography #photos #photoblog #blog
Polish church. Mass on inside but the interior is really beautiful and the choir is lovely. Outside a market with vans full of items from Poland.
Museé d'Orsay was fabulous. I particularly liked the decorative arts. A wonderful space.
After mooching around Montmartre we took a boat tour along Canal St Martin and its tunnel and then onto the Seine. Quite pleasant (and a bit cold).

#BB28 I’m catching bits and pieces of the deep dive with Drew—largely because I wanted to know whether microaggressions would be addressed. It’s happening now. Drew said he has apologized to Taylor and wants to talk with her more. He says he is learning from it. He also called Lala. Convo ongoing.
