Wow....roaring storm hit suddenly just as I was finishing my last lap for the day!
This is a tantalizing suggestion of a behavior called "rescuing", which is a prosocial, altruistic act. They saw a member of the mischief in trouble & spent considerable energy helping them out. That suggests a theory of mind; a type of empathy for others. That's not unexpected in social animals.

By labelling all hijabi women as "victims" or "oppressed" Laura Secor is as complicit in legitimizing a war of aggression against Iran as anybody who supports bombing a country because women wear a dress you disapprove of. She has blood on her hands.
this is a really excellent piece by Laura Secor, reflecting on her decade-plus of reporting from Iran and her decade-plus of following it from afar www.theatlantic.com/magazine/202...

Buy or build a nice modern house with cottage core interior aesthetic and a substantial estate to go with it. Build a greenhouse. Buy off town council and hire folks to grow native veggies/spices. Start a town restaurant with fresh cooked veg food supplied by my estate. Run the whole like a coop.
Ooof....took me a long time to get through this (in bite-sized installments) given the length of the video (4 hours!!). It is the first one I've watched from this channel. The cinematography and narration is mesmerizing. The history is thorough and well-researched. Long videos but time well-spent!!
