it's cool that you can get Star Wars Lego now... And Mario, Sonic, Batman etc. But those old themes like Pirates/Islanders, Blacktron, the Castle theme (with the glow in the dark ghost!) were great weren't they? Can't they do a bit of that too? Am I just old? I'm probably just old...
100% Agreed. It's clearly stated in GB1 that Ghostbusting is "paranormal investigations an eliminations". The "investigations" are the best part of the films. Many critics of the newer films tend to miss this point too.

It's because they try to shoehorn the concept into an action game, treating the wand like a gun where you shoot at hundreds of ghosts, and that's not what the Ghostbusters do. They spent the majority of their time investigating.
29 long years have passed since I founded the emulation archive, Zophar's Domain, on 11.9.96. To this very day, the site still stands as a testament to an era that never actually disappeared but continues to live in the hearts of retrogamers all over the word. Emulation Forever!
Recently bought myself a PS2 Slim after hankering for some early 2000s racing games. It's easy to forget how many great games were part of this era: The later Tony Hawk games, Castlevania LOI, Gran Turismo, Burnout(!), SSX 3 and On Tour. There's so much good stuff to be played.
How I felt about video games 35 years ago and still do to this day.

Nebulus/Castelian will always be a special game for me. It's _rock hard_ but a great game that I have some fond memories of from when I was a kid. I have Castelian on the GameBoy and my little boy loves to play it now, 35+ years later after I played it on my cousin's Atari ST. Might have to get this
