Another Oxford cargo bike theft!! Mine is customised by having a lot of stickers and nail varnish my kids did on it. Stolen on Meadow Lane at 18.30 today locked to a Sheffield stand. Please LMK if anyone sees it for sale. Probably in Cambridge. ;)

Cargo bike. tern GSD. Green one.

Last night (3rd July) between 10.50-11.30 my electric cargo bike was stolen. Black Pakyak E+ with a baby carrier. First time I’d taken it to town 🥹 . I parked it on the Plain roundabout near the Cape of Good Hope pub. Secured it with a Diamond grade lock. If you saw anything please let me know.

A 12-year old cyclist is in hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Sandy Lane West, between Blackbird Leys and Littlemore. Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage of the collision, which involved a red car yesterday around 3.25pm.

I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.

@octopus.energy I‘m doing my bit (washing machine, dishwasher, heat battery, oven all running) but I haven’t got control of my battery due to being on Intelligent Flux. Shouldn’t this be charging on free surplus electricity?

3. this is not the moment for an incredibly expensive increase in state surveillance infrastructure to be run for profit by private tech firms just before Labour ushers in an (even more) authoritarian right wing government. FIX THE GODDAMN COST OF LIVING INSTEAD YOU FREAKS.

🚨 RIGHT NOW opposite Labour Party HQ in London. We’ve turned their street into Jabaliya camp in Gaza. A genocide is happening, but the Labour government is supplying weapons, intelligence and diplomatic cover to the perpetrator. Protesting this is not terrorism.

Building wrap of Jabaliya camp in Gaza opposite Labour Party HQ reads "Protesting this isn't terrorism"

This is the real news story: Disillusioned Labour votes far more likely to vote Green or Lib Dem (43% and 40%) compared to only 9% shifting to Reform. Share widely to counteract all the misinformation that justifies a further shift to the Right by the gov.

The government are wrong if they see yesterday's results as a further reason to shift right. People are certainly disillusioned, and 2024 Labour voters are looking elsewhere - but mostly to the Greens or Lib Dems, not Reform. www.theguardian.com/news/ng-inte...

📈 Today rail fares rise by 4.6%. ✈️ Rail trips are on average twice as expensive as domestic flights. 🚆 We could tax air travel fairly, raising billions to invest in our railways and bring down fares, making the green option the easiest and cheapest option.

REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE.

@octopus.energy I recently noticed that SolarEdge appeared in the devices section in the Octopus app. I enquired via email what this would allow me (or Octopus?) to do with my SE battery. Now SolarEdge has disappeared again (only GivEnergy and Enphase still listed). Were there issues with SolarEdge?

Fossil fuel companies are laughing in our faces , and while the planet burns , they continue to ‘drill baby drill’ and further their exploitation of people and nature . That's why I'm calling on the UK Government to ban fossil fuel ads outright – sign my petition now at lovera.ge/ban-ffa
