I will post about Basketball and Tabletop RPGs in amounts that will annoy fans of either.

I want to make a twin stick shooter game with a separate PDF manual. The game itself gives you the basic controls but hides things like "you can have your protection mission targets follow you" in the manual. Also put cheat codes in the back.

Tentatively making something for Marathon Game Jam and I don't know if its interesting for anyone else but it should be fun for me to learn some stuff. Making map 1, Arrival, from Marathon 1994 as a turn based RPG. I might flame out before finishing but we'll see.

Starting to slowly collect a list of PS1/2 and GameCube RPGs for when I (eventually) get an emulation device. Got Rogue Galaxy, Radiata Stories, Suikoden 3, Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter/4 and a couple others but could use some recs.

well congrats everyone, after the success (15k reviews!) and positive media coverage that AI-generated-art library-sorting game on steam got, there's now a rapid wave of AI-disclosure sorting games releasing on steam

Its so wild seeing republican style attack ads in a Democrat primary for Senate, but then you check and the huge ad spend is coming from a bunch of republican sources, natch. Makes the attacking candidate less trustworthy IMO if they're fine taking ad spends like that.

Crystal Project and Star Ocean Til the End of Time, the two of the three most recent RPGs I finished, are both incredibly 7/10 game (complimentary). I should just throw reviews of them in a single blog post just to write something.

Have not wanted to look into the Android emulation devices, until I started jamming through Star Ocean Til the End of Time during the heatwave, and since.

We need some help doing technical writing/editing for Lancer Tactics' rules text! Inline glossary tagging, styling, & adapting wording when it doesn't make sense in a video game context. ~40 hours of contract work staring at google sheets; job posting is here: lancertactics.com/hiring-techn...

I need to find some new 00s/10s pop music. Something along the vein of The Pillows, The Capes, Love in Stockholm, TWEWY OST, I guess Cake adjacent. Something fun to sing with.

Thinking again about how to property implement a basketball TTRPG. I don't have the design chops yet to hammer out a prototype so for now it sits in my brain percolating.

Man, I don't know why 2D fighting games just feel so much worse to me than 3D ones. Specifically Tekken I guess. I should try VF in the near future just to see if it's just "I vibe with Tekken more" or if it's 3D fighters themselves.

Affinity Publisher looks like it should be straightforward, but I think I need to dive into some tutorials to figure out how to do simple things like "Erase this spot so it creates a negative geometric space". Or if I'm trying to use a jackhammer to pound a nail and should try like, Libreoffice.

I don't think restaurants should be able to advertise they're open late if their lobbies are closed so you *need* a car to pick up an order.
